At Twin Beach Country Club, the health and safety of our members, guests, and staff members is a top priority.  Working together with the Oakland County Health Department, the PGA of America, and the Michigan Golf Alliance, we have implemented the following policies and procedures designed to keep you safe while at Twin Beach:

 

The Golf Course

• We recommend you leave the flagstick in while playing golf.

• We recommend that you use your glove hand while handling range balls, bunker rakes, water coolers, etc.

• Pull carts, electric carts, etc. are being professionally sanitized multiple times per day.

• Tee times have been implemented..

• Attendance during golf events has been limited to promote proper social distancing.

• Golf lessons have evolved to insure social distancing.

• Hand sanitizer is located throughout the golf course.

• Individual electric cart usage is available by request.

• We recommend you wear a mask.

The Practice Range​

• Please use your glove hand when touching range ball baskets or range balls.

• Range balls are being sanitized daily.

• Range ball baskets are sanitized numerous times throughout the day.

• Hand sanitizer is available at both practice areas.

• We recommend you wear a mask.

​

The Pro Shop / Bag Room​

• The counters, floors, doors, etc. are being sanitized regularly.

• We are encouraging members to download the GHIN app to post golf scores.

​

The Clubhouse​

• We have increased the frequency in which our professional cleaning company services the Clubhouse.

• Our staffing team disinfects all areas at designated times daily and documents it.

• All unnecessary touch point items have been removed such as community coffee, snacks, etc.

• Sanitizer is located throughout the clubhouse.

• Members are being asked to convert to online bill pay.

• All outdoor chairs are being sanitized regularly.

• No unauthorized personnel are being permitted inside the Clubhouse.

• Regular COVID19 email updates are being sent to all Twin Beach members.

The Kitchen​

• Unauthorized staff are not allowed to enter the kitchen.

• All deliveries undergo a thorough cleaning process.

• All surfaces are being sanitized hourly.

• All carry outs are minimally handled.

The Halfway House

• We have increased the frequency in which the restrooms are cleaned.

• Our staffing team disinfects all areas every two hours and documents it on a checklist.

• All outdoor chairs are being sanitized regularly.

• Unnecessary touch points such as community ice, cups, etc. have been removed.

Staffing​

• Staff members are required to wash their hands frequently.

• Staff members are not permitted to take breaks together.

• All staff members that may feel ill are directed to stay home.

• Informational articles are being provided to staff members.
