Meet the Staff
After earning a bachelors degree from Central Michigan University in 2006, and achieving membership in the PGA of America, Jim has been fortunate to have worked in all three sectors of the golf industry (public, resort, and private). Jim was employed at Marysville Golf Course from 2000-2007 and was mentored by Superintendent/Director of Golf Dan Tobiczyk. From 2007-2015, Jim was employed at Treetops Resort as Head Golf Professional and Ski Operations Manager. During Jim's time with Treetops Resort, Jim was nominated by the Michigan PGA for "golf professional of the year" as well as awarded the "operator of the year award" by the Michigan Lodging and Tourism Association. In addition to being a member of PGA of America, Jim is also a member of the Club Management Association of America, the Society for Human Resource Management, as well as a Callaway Golf staff profesional. Jim is entering his 11th season at Twin Beach as General Manager and looks forward to continuing to grow the club, controlling expenses, protecting club assets, expanding member services, implementing the latest technology, and much more.

Jim McGuigan, PGA

Jordan Weinger began working at Orchard Lake Country Club in 2009 as a caddie. After two summers of caddying and working with the outside bag staff, Jordan began pursuing a full-time career in the golf industry. Jordan entered the PGM program at Ferris State University in 2011 and during that program, Jordan worked at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Springs, California as well as Orchard Lake Country Club. After graduating from Ferris State in 2014, Jordan was offered the Assistant Golf Professional position at Orchard Lake Country Club where he enjoyed eight years of full-time employment. The last two seasons, Jordan was the Lead Assistant Golf Professoinal at Meadowbrook Country Club. Jordan is entering his 2nd season at Twin Beach Country Club and looks forward to continuing to provide the best possible customer service to all members and guests.

HEAD GOLF PROFESSIONAL
Brian is a 1994 graduate of Michigan State University’s Turfgrass Management Program. His golf course experiences include several private country clubs and public golf courses from Michigan to North Carolina. Brian had the privilege of being part of the grounds crew at the 1993 PGA Championship at the Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio. In 2021, Brian was nominated for the Golf Association of Michigan's Superintendent's Award of Merit. Brian is entering his 27th season with Twin Beach Country Club and looks forward to providing all members and guests the best possible golf course conditions.

Loren attended Johnson & Wales University in Charleston,SC where he received his Baking/Pastry degree and Florida International University in Hospitality Management bachelor’s degree.
Loren has been in the food & beverage field for over 40 years working for Club Corp., privately owned restaurants, and other private country & city clubs. Loren enjoys all aspects of his work including planning events, private parties, creating cocktails, serving members and guests. His personal interest includes baking/cooking at home or giving private cooking lessons, golfing whenever the chance arises and his newest interest renovating homes.

Loren Badish

John Riggs has been employed in the culinary field since 1997. Some of Chef John's job titles have been Banquet Chef, Sous chef and Executive chef. John's previous employment at the Marco Island Yacht club for the past 15 years is really where is passion for love and food really took off. John moved back home to Commerce, Michigan in January of 2021, where he is now the Executive Chef of Twin Beach Country Club. John enjoys cooking for friends and family and excited to cook for the members of Twin Beach! John enjoys fishing in his off time and does golf, but does not claim to be a golfer.
