Tasteful Denim

The question is no longer, “are jeans appropriate?”
The question is now, “which jeans are appropriate?”

To make the new “Tasteful Denim” policy easy to understand even easier to adopt, the board at Twin Beach has written these guidelines.

Where you can wear denim:
The clubhouse.
The bar and grill.
The dining room.
The outdoor patio.
The lockerrooms.

Where you cannot wear denim:
The golf course.
The practice range. Both of them.
The practice green.
The halfway house.
(In other words, denim is not allowed over the bridge.)

What kind of denim is allowed:
Denim is only for pants, no denim shirts.
Denim must be long pants, no jean shorts.
Denim must cover above the hips.
Denim must be in acceptable condition.
Jeans can be faded, “whisker finish” or “antiqued” but not distressed or bleached.
Jeans must be worn with a collared, tucked-in shirt by men.
Jeans can be worn with any women’s top as outlined by current policy.
Jeans must be worn with appropriate shoes as outlined by current policy.
Jeans can be any color, but must be one color. No “spotted” jeans.

What kind of denim is not allowed:
No rips.
No tears.
No fraying.
No jean shorts.
No patches or repaired jeans.
No “low riders”
No “painter’s pants” jeans.
No “spotted” or bleached jeans.
